I had the best experience working with Allen! This was my first home buying experience, and I feel so lucky that I was able to work with him. Right off the bat, I could tell he had so much knowledge about the Triangle area, as well as all of the small but important things to keep in mind when choosing a home. I really appreciated how quickly he responded to all of my questions and how he drove all over creation to meet me for showings. He would always say "It's just what I do!" While this all happened during COVID, he was always very thoughtful about wearing masks and keeping distance. What stuck out to me the most about Allen is how down-to-earth, genuine, and honest he is. I trusted him 100% throughout the whole process, and never felt any pressure to see certain homes or make offers. I felt completely in control of my own home-buying process while still being able to lean on his tremendous support the whole way! He helped me find a home beyond my expectations, and although I was so happy to close on the house and move in, I was sad to be done working with him. He's just fantastic!

Once a suitable properties were located, Allen's years of expertise began to show. Each showing was the opposite of a typical walk-through showing. Allen thoroughly investigated the property to identify any potential pitfalls. On various searches, he went crawling through attics and crawl spaces to identify problems. He critically evaluated value vs listed price and provided guidance. This allowed me to understand risks and market variables before issuing an offer. The offer process was clearly explained and well laid out. He was able to quickly issue an offer to get us in first in a very competitive market. He had reliable contacts and recommendations for due diligence. Once we were under contract, he still shined. Three weeks before closing, my loan offer was withdrawn. Allen didn't panic and within 2 hours he had me in touch with a new loan provider that was able to pre-certify, approve, and provide funds in time for the closing. Overall, I highly recommend Allen.
